Meet the Crew
Niksa GluncicCaptain

Niksa comes from a long family tradition at sea and has been sailing since childhood. He studied at the American College of Management and Technology, holds a Yacht Master certificate, and is known for being service-oriented and a visible, welcoming presence for guests. He speaks fluent English and basic Italian and plans to remain with Acapella for the foreseeable future.
Tomislav (Tommy) GluncicChief Officer

Tomislav grew up sailing with his family and trained at Maritime High School, completing his Yacht Master certificate. He worked alongside his brother for 17 years aboard their Gulet Andeo and is described as knowledgeable, customer-service oriented and positive in nature. He aims to continue with Acapella for many years and to sail new destinations.
Tihomir AbrahamChef

Tihomir is a professionally trained chef with 17 years' experience working for private clients, luxury yachts, and fine dining restaurants. He enjoys adapting to guests' preferences and using high-quality products, aiming to surprise and delight guests with creative cuisine. Colleagues describe him as calm, diligent and positive.
Marija Gabrijela VukasovicStewardess

Gabrijela is an energetic addition to Acapella's interior team with a strong customer service background. Fluent in English and Italian, she has experience in laundry, cleaning and childcare, and naturally anticipates guests' needs while maintaining a warm, unobtrusive presence. This is her first yacht season and she is eager to grow her skills while pursuing interests in photography, painting and art history.
Ivana KrajinaStewardess

Ivana was born in Bosnia-Herzegovina and later moved to Split, where she discovered a passion for maritime studies and yacht management. She worked in fine dining, completed a stewardess training course, and is described as friendly, professional and hard-working. Ivana speaks German and understands Italian and Spanish.
Ana MilicStewardess

Ana has a background in accounting and finance and grew up by the sea on Čiovo, with a family connection to seafaring. Since 2017 she has worked in the maritime industry focused on housekeeping and as a 2nd stew, bringing optimism, attention to detail and a discreet, homely approach to guest service. She enjoys walking, fitness and childcare in her free time.
Domagoj LazeDeckhand
Domagoj has experience on motor yachts and cruise vessels up to 100 ft and has steadily refined his deckhand skills, including deck maintenance and tender handling. He describes himself as dedicated, disciplined and quick to learn, with ambitions to progress further in yachting. Outside work he enjoys cycling, swimming, running, photography and travel.
Stipe BabicDeckhand
Born in Switzerland and educated in Croatia in construction and surveying, Stipe transitioned to a yachting career after six years in his former field. Over the past eight years he has built a solid reputation in yachting and aims to one day become a captain. He is hardworking, knowledgeable and prioritizes guest comfort and safety.
Matko JelavicDeckhand

Matko is a student at the Faculty of Traffic Sciences in Zagreb who developed a love for the sea after a short stint working on a gulet. He is communicative, reliable and eager to gain experience as a deckhand, contributing hard work and enthusiasm to the crew. In his free time he enjoys the gym, sports and farming.
