Meet the Crew
Tolga BulucuCaptain
Captain Tolga Bulucu has served on multiple yachts since 2008 and has been Captain of Nevra Queen since 2019. He holds international yachting/cargo officer licenses and cruises primarily in the Mediterranean and Aegean. Tolga is client-oriented, stress-resistant, a team player and enjoys diving, hunting and folklore dancing.
Unal KaraChef
Unal Kara has worked as a chef since 2000, serving aboard S/Y Amazon Solo and S/Y Kaya Guneri before joining Nevra Queen. He offers a selection of dishes from French, Italian, Turkish and Chinese cuisines and is a sailing enthusiast who enjoys discussing traditional Turkish cooking with guests.
Can SasmazEngineer
Can Sasmaz is a technical college graduate with around 12 years' experience as an engineer on yachts and in the merchant navy. He began his career as an oiler on a top-class tanker, progressed to engineer and later moved to private motor yacht service before joining Nevra Queen in 2019.
Yasin KorkmazChief Officer
Yasin Korkmaz is an experienced yachtsman who worked aboard catamarans and yachts including S/Y Grande Mare and S/Y Bella Mare before joining Nevra Queen. He studied English in London, holds tourism qualifications, and holds Yachtmaster, GMDSS GOC and CMAS Diver licences.
Cinar AkSailor
Cinar Ak is in his fourth season on yachts and serves as a reliable deckhand and assistant engineer aboard Nevra Queen. He contributes woodworking and painting skills to keep the yacht in top shape and enjoys swimming and hiking.
Omer SismanHostess
Omer Sisman joined yacht service in 2015 and moved with crew to S/Y Bella Mare in 2017 before joining Nevra Queen in 2020. Previously a chief receptionist, she brings an energetic, friendly demeanor to guest service and speaks conversational English.
Cansel KaraHousekeeper
Cansel Kara was born in Istanbul and worked in the hotel industry for five years before joining Nevra Queen. She is enthusiastic about her new role, speaks fluent English and has strong knowledge of service and wine tasting.
