The Coast Stays Green

She holds twelve knots along a Turkish shore that stays green all the way down to the water. Eight of you, and the bay is usually empty.

In the Shade After Noon

Lunch is laid in the shade aft and stays there for hours, because the Aegean afternoon is not something you fight.

Off the Bow, Into Blue

The mattresses up forward are for drying off, not for lying still. Someone goes over the bow every twenty minutes and the rest keep count.

Accommodation

Asleep by Mid-Afternoon

A sofa in a cabin counts as extravagance on a twenty-seven metre gulet, and by the third afternoon somebody is asleep on this one instead of on deck.
